Bumblebee, designation B-127, is a fictitious robot superhero in the many continuities of the franchise transformers. The character is a member of Autobot, a group of autoconfigurable and Extraterrestrial modular Robotic life forms.
In most versions, Bumblebee is a small-yellow with black stripes-with most of its alternative modes of vehicle inspired by various generations of American Chevrolet muscle cars-with vivid action movie versions being a yellow Camaro With Black racing stripes. The original design of the vehicle mode was based on a European classic type 1 Volkswagen Beetle. The character bears the name of Bumblebee, a black and yellow striped bee that inspired his painting scheme. Bumblebee appears in most series and later becomes the main protagonist in Transformers: Disguised Robots, Bumblebee and Transformers: Cyberverse.
Bumblebee (known as Bumblebee in Mexico, Bumble in Japan, in Portugal, Űrdongó in Hungary, Maggiolino in Italy, Bourdon in France) is the “little brother ” of the heroic faction or leader Autobot and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself to himself in Eyes of the other robots, especially their leader, Optimus Prime. This often makes you take risks that endanger you. Although it is a bit of an intelligent Aleck, it is a capable and reliable messenger and spy, its small size allows it to go to places that its greatest commanders can not. It is highly efficient in fuel consumption, has great visual acuity, is particularly adaptable to underwater environments and is transformed into a beetle Volkswagen yellow of Saturn. Later, it was rebuilt in a stronger and more mature way like Goldbug.
Bumblebee appears as one of the main characters of Autobot in the series of live action movies Transformers and the protagonist of his own movie Bumblebee. It retains some elements of its Generation 1 project, like the emblematic pieces of horn on its head, which are articulated in the movies. The cautious, but courageous Bumblebee was given an alternate mode different from its original incarnation of the G1; Instead of a Volkswagen beetle, it becomes a yellow rally Chevrolet Camaro (the model year of which is updated in the first movie). Director Michael Bay asserts in the special features of disc two of the debut DVD of the first movie, that the alternate mode change of Bumblebee was due to the fact that a Volkswagen Beetle reminded him of Herbie. Due to a battle injury, it is really mute, and communicates through the use of selected reproduction of radio and television signals. Although his original voice is restored at the end of the first Transformers movie, he communicates only through his radio in the Revenge of the Fallen, the darkness of the Moon, and the age of extinction. The biography of the Decepticon Hardtop figure alleges that he and Bumblebee are former rivals and was not Megatron who damaged Bumblebee’s vocal processor, but a gunshot from the Hardtop pistol. This is in the almost direct opposition of prequel to the movie.
